Baltimore Orioles visit my backyard for a short time each year in early May. This acrobatic guest made the most of my hummingbird feeder, cleverly swinging and balancing so he could take a drink.

Just before we left Colorado, the first cousins of your orioles arrived in our part of Colorado–Bullock’s Orioles. I have seen the Baltimore variant in eastern Colorado and Nebraska. They are such fun birds to have at the feeder!
This is indeed a GLORIOUS looking Oriole. We get the Black-headed Oriole in South Africa which is bright yellow with a black head and an orange beak. I enjoy its visits to my nectar feeder too.
