Spectacular! Love it the name, too. We live on the edge of a watershed, but it’s nowhere near as grand.
It’s a great place to see “big open sky and water” around here. I spent my entire 34 year teaching career with the Quabbin Regional School District, so the name seems so natural to me…;-)
That’s an impressive and beautiful reservoir, and the surrounding landscape and trees are lovely too.
The water gives one a feeling of open space. My area has a lot of woodland, so it makes a nice change.
It is wonderfully expansive.
