About the author jmankowsky

I live in Central Massachusetts in the United States--a wonderful area for nature photography. Using a standard point-and-shoot camera, I celebrate the nature found here in a variety of local landscapes throughout the changing seasons.

  7. Just before we left Colorado, the first cousins of your orioles arrived in our part of Colorado–Bullock’s Orioles. I have seen the Baltimore variant in eastern Colorado and Nebraska. They are such fun birds to have at the feeder!

  8. This is indeed a GLORIOUS looking Oriole. We get the Black-headed Oriole in South Africa which is bright yellow with a black head and an orange beak. I enjoy its visits to my nectar feeder too.
