I agree, gardening is fun and therapeutic. It’s a good escape from the madness of the world.

What wonderful photos of your spectacular vegetables! I truly hope Mr. and Ms. Rabbit are able to be satisfied with the clover in your lawn and leave your garden un-nibbled…
Wow, what a gorgeous garden, Julie. I must admit, though, if I was a cottontail, a lot of this would look especially yummy to me. It does look yummy and I’m not a cottontail! Mmmm, that chard is perfect. I like the photo of the rabbit surveying the yard. Great garden, thanks for sharing it.
Hi Jet! Always good to meet up with you. I hope you are enjoying your summer. I’m happy to report that the rabbits are still behaving, but my neighbors have had a bear and a bobcat in their yards! (I live in a town of 20,000, but on the edge of a woodsy section.)
I’m with you–swiss chard is yummy, especially when eaten with a side of freshly picked tomato!
Cheers,
Julie
My goodness, I hope your harvest will be bountiful, Julie. Sometimes I wish we lived in a climate more conducive to vegetable gardening.
Thanks, Tanja. Gardening is mostly such fun, and such a helpful focus in these (ever more) trying times.

Thanks for your kind words, and for visiting!
I was wishing you luck as I scrolled down. More good luck, Julie
Thanks. The vegetables might be safe, but they certainly like the hosta in the yard. Fortunately, we have enough of it to share with them.
I did not know rabbits eat clover! Thanks!
It is said that if gardeners plant clover in lawns, the rabbits will just be content with it. We’ll see!

Sending lots of luck, Julie! Your vegetable plants are so healthy 🙂
Thanks, Rosaliene. Most of the vegetables are fenced in. Fingers crossed!
