Thanks. What I didn’t picture is lifting up the little velcro flap on the side of the bag, so you could see if the potatoes had started to grow. Whoever came up with that idea was certainly creative.

What a clever bag and such a harvest! I tried growing potatoes in a bag once – but just an ordinary black garbage bag but it was so hot that the potatoes got scorched inside the bag!
This was my first time with bags, and I will definitely use them again next year. They are of heavy duty plastic-y material with drainage holes in the bottom, handles on the side, and a nifty little velcro “door” at the bottom that you can open up to check for potatoes or see how the roots of your plants are. Fun!
Wow! This is truly amazing!

Impressive! Tasty golden nuggets.
Thanks. Lots of fun. No potato bugs, either. I hope the rest of the season is bug free!
Wowsah! That is quite a boon.
OMG! Golden taters! You are amazing, Julie. 🙂 👍
Thanks, H.J. It was my first time with the grow bags this year, and It was so much fun! I have a couple more bags with red taters…;-)
Yum. How about a boiled or baked potato with some melted butter and a dash of salt? So simple yet so tasty. I’m hungry now. 🙂
Yummy!!!
Such a treat!
