Displays of Mophead Hydrangeas are spectacular in Massachusetts this season, thanks to a mild winter. My bushes, which usually sport a handful of blooms, have been going non-stop for several weeks.

  2. Your hydrangeas are looking gorgeous Julie. We planted one this year and it is finally opening, slowly. Only a few can grow in our climate zone. Happy Thursday. Allan

      1. Oh yeah. Over the years I’ve tried watering more, tones of holly tone, cutting back in different ways. .. Nobody mentioned that the cold winter was the real key to lack of blossoms. 😉

      Glad you enjoyed the post. I’ve been working hard on some landscaping, which I’ll be posting soon. It’s very hot here right now. Hoping your temps are a bit more comfy!

      1. Landscaping sounds like fun but hard work also. Sorry to hear you are also suffering from the heat. It’s hot here too, but not as bad as in Las Vegas and it’s supposed to return to more seasonal(ly) hot temps next week. Can’t wait!
