Sheep at Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary spend fall days on the go.

Visitors are greeted with this sign at the entrance.

I’ve watched this sheep and her friends

walking the stone wall,

choosing fresh tree leaves to munch on,

strolling through the Visitor’s Center entrance,

and posing for a painting.

Then there’s time for a bit of lawn grazing,

and a quick rub against the scratching post.

Dinner Awaits!

Looks like they have a good life!
Indeed they do!
Great photos! These are the types of scenes I’d expect to see in someplace like Ireland, not the USA. 👍🏽😉
A lovely photo story
A good study of these wooly critters Julie. I think they think they are goats, climbing on fences like that. Happy Thursday. Allan
Same to you!
So delightful. Sheep seldom get credit for being clever!
These sheep have personalities, and especially one of them is always seeming to get into mischief!
I suppose most sheep aren’t given the opportunity to show their individuality.
