About the author jmankowsky

I live in Central Massachusetts in the United States--a wonderful area for nature photography. Using a standard point-and-shoot camera, I celebrate the nature found here in a variety of local landscapes throughout the changing seasons.

    1. Thanks! I have a Canon Pow sx 720 hs. It’s 20 NO and has a 40x zoom, which is especially good for capturing birds on the go.

      1. Sounds like a great camera, My point-and-shoot is a 5-year-old Olympus with only a 5X zoom. That’s why I felt a need to go to the Nikon (as a gift to myself after I sold my house last year).
