It was a beautiful sight! Someone obviously took a lot of care to plant that huge long plot with crocuses. I imagine you doing things like that in your yard and garden. 😉
Gorgeous crocuses…… I want to call them croci!! 😉 I read a book recently about a murderer who poisoned a person with alkaloid colchicine from crocus. Apparently it is extremely toxic with doses the size of several grains of salt deadly to humans and animals.
Brilliant colors!

Over the years I surely have planted hundreds!

How lovely–a carpet of crocus. But not to walk on, only to gaze at!

Thanks for visiting!
Boy oh boy, what a display! Beautiful.
Good thing spring bulbs seem to be hardy—here’s hoping the current freezing rain won’t hurt them!
Fingers crossed! We had quite a storm in Maine.
Such a pretty display Julie. Thanks for sharing with us who are still locked in winter white. Allan
LOL! It WAS spring in Massachusetts, but it’s snow and freezing rain right now.
Have a good weekend!

LOL! I did not know that! And my croci are next to my “deadly” foxglove! Thanks for visiting.
