Israel? You surely get around, H.j. 😉 This camel lives at a farm a few miles from here. The farm is the former site of a Heifer International Educational livestock farm, where they had a rescue camel for years. The camel made for very interesting living nativities each Christmas! 😉
Glad the dromedary is having better days.
Not something you see every day! Is it on a private farm?
Yes, it is on a private farm that also encourages people to roam around and see the animals. They have a farm store on the site as well.
He’s awesome!
Thank you! He didn’t seem to mind people at all!
What’s this guy doing there in the cold? The last I saw one was in Israel. Excellent photos, Julie. 🙂

These photos are fantastic!! It looks like the camel is posing for the camera!
Thank you. He surely did seem to show me all his “sides”! 😉
Wonderful captures, love them, Julie!! To see a rescued animal living in a beautiful setting melts my heart! Kudos to the rescuers and caretakers!!
The camel is beautiful! Julie. You were lucky to take his photos, it’s a very rare opportunity.
Excellent photos of the rescue camel!
Thanks, Kaya. I love it lives near me!
