I love the vivid colors of your plants (and photos of same)! As I may have mentioned in one of my own blog posts, someone (deer? woodchuck? rabbit?) keeps eating down the echinacea and lupines I planted along the road in front of our house. Only two are flowering, but the rest are hanging in there with the few leaves left on their stems which did not get eaten…. It is a humbling reminder of how we humans do indeed co-exist and interact with other animals here on planet earth!
Oh, yes! We’ve had deer, rabbits and woodchucks around and even a bear on the front porch. It is very worrying that animals continue to lose so much of their habitat. I’m trying to enjoy the phlox that I photographed, as many similar plants have been “munched on” in the yard.
Wishing you a good week!
Yes, the bear took down our hummingbird feeders last year, so we don’t put them up anymore. Near the center of town, a woman who sells honey has bee hives with an electric fence around it. Sigh.. Very deep breath in and very deep breath out.
Thanks! Thankfully we aren’t close to any of the wildfires. Although we did have to deal with smoky skies for a bit. Here’s hoping we get a bunch of rain soon.
Vibrant and pretty! May you remain pest-free! 👍🏼
I can only hope!
Human created paradises are opportunities for so many invasive pests. Hope your woodchuck stays away Julie. Happy Sunday. Allan
Thanks for the good thoughts Allan.
What a glorious burst of color! Hope that woodchuck stays away.
Fingers crossed, but what the woodchuck wants, the woodchuck usually gets. …
so true!

Such vibrant colors to brighten one’s day!
Thanks, Rosaliene. Wishing you a good week. 😉

So pretty, Julie. 😊
Pink is a fun color, I think!
I agree! 😉
These are beautiful, Julie.
Thanks, Pepper. Have a good week!
Wow! Such vibrant colors. Lovely photos.
Phlox are so low care for all the color they give!
Let’s hope they will survive!
The good thing is that even after they get chewed down, they usually come back. 😉
Such vivid color Julie!
Thank you for visiting and commenting!
Such pretty flowers. They certainly pop against all the greenery.
Thank you. You are in my thoughts as I worry about the wildfires.

Looks beautiful.
Thank you!
