The snow on the windows creates lovely patterns and filters but at the same time the blizzard must have been quite alarming. You really do seem to be snowed in! I trust you have double-glazed windows?
Yesterday sure was wild. 37″ and 55 mph winds here on the south coast. Beautiful day today, as captured in your photos. Still waiting to be plowed out but we do have power.
Love the views from your windows. Well done! 👏
Thanks, Pepper. I always enjoy your kind comments.
It is my pleasure. 😉
Sideways snow! 😀
Darn! That would have made a great title! You are to clever by half!
🙂
I am glad someone is taking photos today! Lots of snow blown onto my windows here in Arlington, MA, too… Time to go and shovel again.
Oh, you were really at the center of things, I bet? Did you lose power at all?
We have been blessed with no power outages (yet)…
Fine pictures from inside where I hope I was warmer
It was cozy and warm until the late afternoon shoveling began. 😉
Thanks. Derrick. It was toasty inside.
Wow! Stay safe and warm, Julie.
Thank you! 1-3 inches of snow coming tomorrow, but that seems easy in comparison.
Better to be on the inside looking out than on the outside looking in!
You bet!
It’s amazing to look at while cozy inside! Providence even beat the Blizzard of ’78 record for most snowfall in one storm.
I’m getting too old for these kinds of storms!

Yes. So far, no leaks!

Glad you didn’t lose power. We are plowed out, but my shoveling of walkways is getting less refined and careful with each storm that comes. 😉
That was some storm! The storm only brushed central Maine.
oh, yes, but after 25 inches a week ago, I was happy that this was “just 11.5 inches”. Hurry up, Spring!
It’s all a matter of perspective, isn’t it?
Love the snowy shots. The snow may be cold, but at least it looks beautiful.
It is beautiful, and this should really help with draught levels.
