Native New Englanders

It wouldn’t be spring without the return of these native plants in my yard. According to the National Audubon Society:

Return of the Phoebe

Phoebes symbolize wisdom and hidden knowledge. They are connected to the Roman goddess Diana.

This active Eastern Phoebe perched in the bushes surrounding the Farm Pond in between making short flights to capture insects.
