This photo blog features the seasonal changes in nature observed in my own backyard and a variety of local environments, including sites of historical, cultural and recreational interest found in Central Massachusetts. It highlights destinations for both indoor and outdoor exploration, and the everyday beauty of this area. Mass Audubon's Wachusett Meadow Wildlife Sanctuary in Princeton, MA is often featured as a model for the positive effects a small nature preserve can have on the larger environment and the local community. I hope my photography of the sanctuary will help to inspire others to enjoy and engage with nature.
