A local increase in the seal population in the last few years is attracting Great White Sharks to this beach.
May you have fair sailing, Gray Seal!

A lucky day for this Gray Seal!

A lucky day for this Gray Seal!
We used to vacation on the upper Cape in the 80-90s when there were no sharks. I wouldn’t dare to swim there now!
Oh yeah. LOOOng swims far out in the waves, and not a care in the world….;-)
Great catch, literally!
Amazing photos. 🙂
A reminder to one and all: never swim near seals in the summer!
How nice you were able to get a few photos of that seal. I also love the color of the ocean and would be very tempted to dive into it. But likely not enough to risk my life.
My husband used to work in Boston for a couple of years and we’ve spent a bit of time at Cape Cod. Your pictures of Nauset Beach look gorgeous. Great timing to see the seal.
The Cape is my happy place for vacation. I’ve been going there for years. Boston is surely an interesting city!
Beautiful photos! Love the Seal.
Just swimming all alone. Looked so sweet
